The event will take place on Monday, May 7th through Wednesday, May 16th at the University of Georgia Grady College in Athens. Nineteen students will participate in nine days of intense training and learning from some of the best professionals in the media industry.

“Students learn from the very people in our industry that do the hiring,” said GAB President Bob Houghton. “These young broadcasters are engaged, talented and are developing a passion for our Industry. I am thrilled we are doing this in Georgia and am grateful to Beasley Media Group for its support as the official sponsor of the Institute. It’s good for our industry, and hopefully will be done all over the country.”
