After 41 years with FOX 5 Atlanta, Atlanta Press Club Hall of Famer Morse Diggs is entering a well-deserved retirement.
Originally wielding a pen, Diggs began his career in Ohio, working for the Akron Beacon-Journal following his graduation from Amherst College in Massachusetts. He came to Atlanta to work for the Atlanta-Journal Constitution as a City Hall correspondent. Shortly after, Diggs made the switch from writer to on-air reporter when he came to FOX 5 Atlanta.
For the past 40 years, Diggs has worked for FOX 5 covering Atlanta City Government and state politics. Aside from his diligent reporting efforts, Diggs is best known for being the best-dressed reporter in Atlanta; a trait he gained from his seamstress mother and fashion forward brother.
As he hangs up the press badge, Diggs plans to spend quality time with family.
Diggs’s final day with his FOX 5 family was Nov. 1, 2023.
