Univision is seeking a talented individual based in Atlanta, GA with a passion for content creation and building new community partnerships and maintaining existing ones.
The successful candidate will report to the Director of Community Empowerment and actively engage in community events. This individual must be a strategic and creative thinker, a self-starter, and a collaborator willing to learn and share ideas.
Strategize with projects related to partnerships with companies, governmental and non-profit organizations and the station,
Execute, organize, coordinate and monitor community involvement in programs/events.
Assist with station corporate initiatives and events.
Schedule, manage and maintain television PSAs.
Create and filing the quarterly FCC Reports for television.
Collaborate with promotions, sales, and news to execute community events.
Proactively assist in the taping of On-Air Content: News Magazine, PSA’s, etc.
Attend the planning and marketing of community events.
Manage agreements with community organizations
Research companies and organizations for possible partnerships
Perform additional duties, as assigned by Community Empowerment Director and/or General Manager.
Develop agreements with community organizations.
Required Skills & Experience
High School graduate or equivalent required
Bi literate in English and Spanish required; speak, read, and write it
Requires good typing skills
Must have time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines
Professional demeanor required at all times
Desired Skills & Experience
Desired candidate would be pursuing a career in communications or public relations
Knowledge of formatting, proofreading, basic arithmetic, and filing
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook software packages
Knowledge of INews is a plus
The ability to work in a team setting
Great people skills, enthusiastic and a true passion for helping the community
Must be willing to work from office in Atlanta, GA
Employment/education will be verified
Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
Must have valid Driver’s License with good driving record.
