The Senior Sales Assistant not only facilitates the processes after the sale, including order entry and problem resolution, but also provides true account management duties for various clients. This position is a link between the Media Consultant/sales professionals, their clients and with other departments within our organization who may touch the business, like promotions and production. This position requires an expert multi-tasker, with the ability to shift attention on the fly. The person we’re seeking must have the ability to provide the media consultant with a feeling of trust, assurance and competence, while being able to work with the company to get things done in a timely manner, all delivered with a positive, deliberate attitude. Responsibilities:
Senior Sales Assistants support the Media Consultant by preparing research, generating sales proposals, presentations, agreements and campaign recaps. The assistant oversees details before and after the sale such as order entry, production, traffic (log) issues, copy, coop facilitation, invoice revisions and continuity. Other duties include generating sales reports, client interaction and problem solving, maintaining the media consultant’s calendar, entering prospect and customer information into contact management databases, scheduling and coordinating logistics for internal meetings, processing customer requests for tickets Qualifications
Sales Assistants are professional, self-motivated, pro-active and well-spoken. Sales Assistants should have strong writing, oral, math and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to solve multi-layered; complex problems, and work well under pressure. Candidates must be well organized, able to manage different projects simultaneously, and be comfortable with a high volume of activity; committed to working until the job is complete. Computer skills must include a high level of proficiency with Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with contact management databases. Preference will be given to those with Wide Orbit media traffic experience. About Cox Media Group
