JOB SUMMARY WTOC TV, the dominant CBS affiliate in Savannah, GA, is seeking a broadcast producer to join our team. At least two years of previous newscast experience at a commercial television station is preferred, but not required. The right candidate will not only love local news, but have a positive attitude, a hard work ethic, excel at writing for both broadcast and digital platforms, and be a team player. Applicant should also bring professionalism and enthusiasm into the workplace. This position also requires video editing knowledge. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but not limited to): -Produce one or more broadcast newscasts daily. -Work with reporters on showcasing techniques and break-out elements within their newscasts. -Help write for digital and social media platforms. -Help edit video for own newscasts. -Help other producers with their newscasts. -Help with special projects as assigned by managers.
