Job Summary/Description:  

WTOC 11, the number one station in Savannah, is seeking a Marketing Producer/Editor to join our award-winning creative team. The ideal candidate is a highly creative, enthusiastic individual with the drive and experience to conceptualize, write, produce, direct and edit promotion materials to engage viewers and build the WTOC brand. Proficiency with cinema cameras and Adobe CC is required. Must be a self-motivator, highly organized and able to collaborate well with others in our creative team. Duties/Responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

– Write and edit news and weather promos.
– Write and produce on-air branding campaigns.
– Film talent in studio, newsroom, and outdoor environments for marketing content.
– Generate ideas to further the WTOC brand and drive viewership.
– Shoot, produce and represent the station at community events and parades.
– Ability to work on multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Qualifications/Requirements:

– College education or equivalent.
– Ability to craft an engaging message focused on viewer benefits.
– Experience with Canon cinema cameras, professional video lighting and audio.
– Proficiency with Adobe Premiere and knowledge of other related Creative Cloud programs. Experience in After Effects is a plus.
– Strong creative team player with a positive attitude.
– Must be able to carry and setup equipment (20-30lbs.).
– Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
– Must submit samples of work for consideration.
