Telemundo Atlanta is looking for an experienced Digital Content Producer to join their award winning team. The Digital Content Producer contributes to the overall digital goal writing, editing and distributing in social media channels stories and videos that are engaging for the Latino audience. The Digital Editor daily production is driven by the analytics reports and the behavior of readers on a daily basis. |
Experience:
– Minimum 3 years of digital/news content producing experience at a local news or network news organization
– Planning/assignment desk experience strongly preferred. Ambition to excel and a work ethic that leads by example
– Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Broadcasting, Communications or equivalent training/experience strongly preferred
– Enjoy a fast paced environment
– Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously |
Requirements:
– Producing dynamic written and video news content for all digital platforms including station website/apps and social media channels
– Working quickly to send out breaking news, weather, and traffic alerts, including push notifications, social media updates and web stories that are updated as news develops
– Creating innovative and user-friendly elements for consumption across our platforms
– Ability to perform assignment desk duties including monitoring news wires/police reports, maintain phone lists of sources, keep files/records of upcoming news events
– Generate & provide story ideas, research as necessary
– Able to identify content that is engaging for the Hispanic audience
– Work in collaboration with videographers and reporters to gather daily news stories
– Analyze data during the day to produce the best content possible to reach the digital goals |
