Columbus, another key market in Georgia, boasts a substantial 36% AM listenership. The city’s residents appreciate the rich and varied programming offered by AM radio stations, covering topics ranging from news and sports to music and talk shows.
Brunswick, known for its coastal charm, also enjoys a significant AM listenership of 30%. The presence of AM radio in Brunswick reflects the enduring appeal of the medium, even in smaller markets.
Savannah wraps up the list with 23% of listeners tuning in to AM radio. The city’s historic charm and deep-rooted traditions create an ideal environment for AM radio to flourish, attracting a dedicated audience seeking local content and community-focused programming.
These impressive statistics highlight Georgia’s status as a stronghold for AM radio listenership. Despite the rise of digital platforms and streaming services, AM broadcast continues to captivate audiences in the state.
