FCC Allows Internet-Only EEO Recruitment Sources

On April 21, the FCC released its Declaratory Ruling updating its Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies to allow broadcasters to use the Internet as a sole recruitment source in order to meet the “wide dissemination” requirements in the FCC’s EEO rules.  The Declaratory Ruling is effective April 21, 2017.
