FCC Allows Internet-Only EEO Recruitment Sources

On April 21, the FCC released its Declaratory Ruling updating its Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies to allow broadcasters to use the Internet as a sole recruitment source in order to meet the “wide dissemination” requirements in the FCC’s EEO rules.  The Declaratory Ruling is effective April 21, 2017. FCC Emergency Alert System Report Released

On April 21, the FCC released a report on the results of the September 28, 2016 Nationwide EAS Test and recommended next steps.
