Meet Lina Heng
Lina Heng is a recent graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she earned her Master of Science in Management after completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a TESOL certification at Columbus State University.
Throughout her academic and professional experiences, Lina has developed a passion for combining creativity, communication and community engagement. At Columbus State University, she has served as a Career Coach & Visual Marketing Specialist for the Center for Career Design, a Resident Assistant and the founder and two-year president of the Ethnically Asian and Pacific Islanders (EPIC) campus award winning, student organization. She also studied abroad in South Korea, where she taught English to elementary students, and worked closely with her university’s Center for Global Engagement by supporting international students and assisting with international orientation programs.
Lina’s interests include graphic design, digital illustration and content creation, with a strong focus on storytelling and visual communication. She is also passionate about opportunities within higher education that foster student engagement, program development and community building. She enjoys adapting her creative skills to support a variety of projects and believes thoughtful design can strengthen connections between organizations and the communities they serve.
Through her internship with the Georgia Association of Broadcasters, Lina hopes to expand her professional network, gain a deeper understanding of the behind-the-scenes operations of a statewide media association and continue refining her graphic design and content creation skills through meaningful visual storytelling. She is excited to contribute creative ideas while supporting GAB’s mission and its members across Georgia’s broadcasting industry.
Outside of work, Lina is a Honcho Pickleball Ambassador and enjoys playing pickleball, karaoke, exploring new restaurants and cafés, traveling and spending time with friends and family. Feel free to say hello! Or even better, invite her out for a matcha latte!
