After stopping in each of Georgia’s eight major markets, the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business 42nd annual Economic Outlook series has come to an end. At each stop, Terry College delivered the economic forecast for the year based on research driven-data from the Selig Center for Economic Growth. The series covers economic outlooks at the local, state and national levels.
Beginning in Atlanta on December 6, 2024 and continuing in January 2025, the Economic Outlook series visited Augusta, Savannah, Jekyll Island, Macon, Albany, Athens and wrapped up in Columbus.
As a partner, the Georgia Association of Broadcasters invited local members to join them in attending each series stop. Each stop also served as an opportunity to visit GAB members and university partners.
“The GAB was proud to once again partner with the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business for the annual Economic Series for 2025,” says President of the GAB, Randy Gravley. “The event provided our GAB members the opportunity to hear from experts on the national, state and local economic outlook. As we traveled across the state meeting with our radio and television members, as well as, our college and university partners, it was gratifying to see the great work that our local stations are doing serving their local communities.”
The GAB was proud to participate in yet another successful outlook series.
