GAB Now Accepting Broadcasting Hall of Fame Nominations For 2020
ATLANTA – The Georgia Association of Broadcasters (GAB) is accepting nominations for the 2018 GAB Hall of Fame induction class. The nomination process is open to any and all Georgia Broadcasters, active and retired. Consideration for this honor is given to broadcasters with a minimum of 20 years in broadcasting with a tie to Georgia; went to school, lived, or worked in the state, a solid record of achievement including: rating dominance and local/national awards, and a history of dedication to the communities they serve.
“To be nominated is a high honor. Election to the GAB Hall of Fame has no comparison,” said Bob Houghton, President of the Georgia Association of Broadcasters.
DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS IS FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 22 at 11:59 p.m.
Since its inception the GAB Hall of Fame has inducted 89 Broadcasters, honoring big name legends and small town greats.
