Allen is VP, Operations for Salem Communications. At 14 he talked his way into a summer job at WESC-AM/FM in Greenville, SC. His dream was to be a morning radio personality. As it turned out, he stayed there almost 24 years eventually becoming Production Manager, VP of Programming and GM...but never the morning guy! His career experience includes country, rock and Christian radio. He is a graduate of North Greenville College and Furman University with a business degree. He is very involved in community and serves on numerous boards including the United Way, Community Planning Council of Greenville County, March of Dimes, Greenville Chamber Center for Developmental Services, SC Broadcasters Association and a member of the GAB Board.

John serves on the United Way Board of Director, the St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation board, The Metro Augusta Chamber of Commerce in which he is very active, the Am. Cancer Society, the Greater Augusta Arts Council and the GAB Board.

December of 2003 with the Southeastern Media purchase. In addition,
Barth also oversees the Raycom LMA. Prior to his arrival in Augusta,
Barry managed CBS affiliates in Hartford, Spokane and Fresno.

1991, they have a nine year old daughter named Matalyn.

Christopher J. Wegmann was named Vice President and Market Manager for Cox’s 5 station flagship cluster in Atlanta—WSB AM, WSB FM, WALR FM,
WBTS FM, and WFOX FM—in June of 2003 after serving in the same capacity for the Cox cluster in Houston. He joined Cox in the summer of 2001 from his former position as a Regional Vice President for the State of Louisiana where he ran the 6 station cluster in Baton Rouge and was responsible for overseeing clusters in New Orleans, Shreveport and Alexandria, including Texas markets Beaumont and McAllen, managing through the GulfStar-CapStar-Clear Channel Mega Mergers. He previously worked for Dick Oppenheimer’s Signature Broadcasting for 13 years until he joined GulfStar in 1996.
